Conference venue

Following the success of our 2018 London event, we are excited to be returning to the Purcell Room at the Southbank Centre.

The Purcell Room reopened in April 2018 following almost three years of refurbishment. With new improved facilities and acoustics, this intimate wood-panelled auditorium provides a platform for music and performance events, a variety of talks and debates, plus readings of classical and modern literature. On arrival, please enter the venue through the main entrance on the upper level. Directional signage and a member of the WORKTECH team will direct you to the registration desk.

See below for more information about Southbank Centre and how to get there.

PURCELL ROOM

This 295-seat venue is adjacent to the Queen Elizabeth Hall foyer, which is the perfect space for WORKTECH19 London’s extensive innovations exhibition and networking drinks reception.

The design led by architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios (FCBStudios), focused on refurbishing the auditoria, foyer and artists’ back of house facilities. Improved access, ventilation and lighting systems, and new production infrastructure enhance the experience for audience and performers alike. New leather upholstery revitalises the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room’s distinctive and comfortable seating.
